Terms governing source code handover, footer attribution removal, and credential transfer — all under the IT Act, 2000.
This policy governs the handover of source code, removal of footer attribution, and transfer of hosting, server, and domain credentials for all projects developed by BRATA MEDIA PRESS. All such handovers are subject to a single, non-negotiable fee of ₹50,000 (Fifty Thousand Indian Rupees), execution of a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), and full compliance with the Information Technology (IT) Act, 2000 of India. This policy applies to all clients regardless of package tier or engagement size.
BRATA MEDIA PRESS invests significant time, expertise, and intellectual effort in developing custom digital products. Our standard project delivery includes a fully deployed, functional website, application, or software product — but does not automatically include transfer of the underlying source code, proprietary development assets, or infrastructure credentials.
This policy exists to:
Standard project delivery from BRATA MEDIA PRESS includes the deployed, live product only. Source code — meaning the complete, uncommented, editable codebase of the delivered product — is not included in standard project packages and requires a separate handover agreement.
Source code handover applies to all project types including:

Upon payment of the ₹50,000 fee and execution of the NDA, the Client receives a comprehensive handover package including:

The "Designed & Developed by BRATA MEDIA PRESS" attribution is cleanly removed from all files
Complete server access credentials including cPanel, SSH keys, FTP details, and server configuration notes
Full domain registrar account credentials and DNS configuration details
Executed mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement protecting both parties' interests post-handover
Database credentials, admin panel login details, and system user accounts
Original design files (Figma/PSD), image assets, fonts, and media in original formats
Project setup guide, dependency list, deployment instructions, and maintenance notes
Source code handover is exclusively available under a signed, legally executed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). The NDA must be signed by an authorised representative of the Client before any assets are transferred. The NDA governs:
For the full NDA terms, please refer to our Non-Disclosure Agreement page. A project-specific NDA document will be prepared and issued by BRATA MEDIA PRESS upon request.
Transfer of all infrastructure credentials — including but not limited to server login details, hosting control panel (cPanel/Plesk/DirectAdmin) access, SSH keys, domain registrar account access, DNS management access, SSL certificate details, database credentials, and third-party API keys — is included within the ₹50,000 handover package.
The Client assumes full legal and operational responsibility for all transferred credentials and infrastructure upon confirmed receipt. BRATA MEDIA PRESS accepts no liability for security incidents arising from the Client's handling of credentials post-handover.
All projects, services, and development work carried out by BRATA MEDIA PRESS — including source code handovers — are conducted in strict compliance with the Information Technology (IT) Act, 2000, India's primary legislation governing cybercrime, electronic commerce, and digital data privacy. BRATA MEDIA PRESS will not accept, execute, or complete any service request, development project, or source code handover that would violate any provision of the IT Act, 2000.
